Did your toddler briefly repeat first sounds when learning to talk?

“Did your toddler ever repeat the first letter/sound of words for a while? My 21-month-old says things like ‘p-p-papa’ sometimes but otherwise seems normal.”

  • “m-m-milk”
  • “ka-ka-kaki”
  • “b-b-ball”
Did anyone ever went through this phase

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

No but then I’m perhaps not the best person to ask as they both ended up having SaLT Smile

I would do this progress checker from Speech & Language UK and see if it says that your LO needs support or not.

They’re both older now and talking fine. They just saw SaLT as some fun sessions Smile

How did your LO do on the progress checker?
