My darling daughter just turned three and was told she has several classic signs of adhd in girls . I will list the signs 1) she is very verbal and capable of long turn taking conversations 2) she is anxious in busy settings like playgrounds with other kids but doesn’t mind at all busy restaurants, nursery or playgroups . She can 1) follow all sort of instructions regardless of the activity ( both engaging and not stimulating tasks 2) she is very low energy and needs 14 hours of sleep and always waits up to an hour in her room playing with her toys in the morning 3 ) she loves both independent and engaging playing and happy to do all sort of activities 4) she got excellent memory for details 5) always polite and well mannered both at home and outside , waits her turn etc 6) she can sit for long times and has no issues with sitting at the table . 7) tantrums at home are very rare and never had a meltdown 8) she is a rule follower and an introverted and if a plan change or her playgroup is closed it doesn’t affect her She gets scared and anxious though if she spots kids at the playground and cries if another kid is on the same slide as her and says “ mommy it is the little boy’s turn “ , same thing as library etc She does love playing with one kid at a a time and hates rough and tumble .

I have two with ADHD and I’m struggling to see those “obvious signs”. Who told you that @OneOliveKoala?

Because she is very verbal but she does pause to listen others talking and yes she gets anxious at playgrounds but she can play cooperatively with another kid whom she never met for 2 hours on puzzles or games like “ the floor is lava etc .

The fact that she doesn’t want to play alone but prefers people to play with her , very verbal and anxious at playgrounds

So what you’re saying is that nobody has suggested that she may have ADHD but you think she may have signs?
