If you had a child who was disruptive in primary school did it get better or worse in senior?

Just had yet another email from my 10 year olds teacher about disruptive behaviour in class.

It seems like every week it’s something else, some things worse than others.

Was anyone else’s son like that at this age? Did they grow out of it or did it get worse? What helped??

if anyone had a son like that who is now an adult, are they a normal, functioning, helpful member of society or not?

He sees the headteacher each week for 1:1 chats, his teacher is very firm (but fair) and he does generally behave ok when she is taking the lesson but as soon as he is transitioning / in the playground / has a cover teacher or a PPA lesson that is with a specialist teacher and not his form tutor he disengages, chats, is rude, is mildly disruptive.

Just don’t want it to get worse.
