Nearly 8 year old sweaty

My nearly 8 year old girl has started to smell of sweat in the past few days 🫣 I know girls hit puberty earlier than boys, but it still feels too early! Has anyone else’s daughter had this so early?

Yes my eldest is age 7. She gets very hot but does do a lot of sport (at least 2hrs a day) and smells like a teenager. I was a bit shocked as I don't recall experiencing this until my teens but perhaps I didn't notice as a child. I will not be advising her to use deodorant at this age as I think it's harmful if used too much and knows she will spray tons everywhere. I just let her shower regularly and use nice scented shower gel. I think as long as children wash regularly, it's no big deal. At least I won't make a deal out of it unless any issues arise as my daughter gets older.

@DifferentView yes I thought the same I don’t remember being that young when I started, i obviously haven’t mentioned it to her and like you won’t be using deodorant with her as she is too young for this, but I will be getting her to wash more regularly with a scented wash :) thank you.

Mine started when she was 7.5.
