DS has just been constantly whinging for about the last week it is just so annoying, he is usually a happy little boy who plays and laughs loads but in the last week he is whines the whole time, he will crawl along and just whine as he does it, play with his toys and whine at the same time, want to be picked up so I pick him and he whines to be put down, whines and cries all the way through every meal - it is just so tiring and annoying. Is this a phase they go through at this age, any advice on what I can do?

teeth?

poorly?

does he feed himself?

My DS1 did this at the same age, so you have my deepest sympathy! Not advice sorry, but with hindsight I think his back teeth were comming through.

Don't think it's teeth as four just came through together and he was a bit upset but not like this and can't see any coming through now. As far as I can see he isn't poorly as no temperature and if I do manage to distract him for a second he seems happy but them goes back to whinging - feed's himself sometimes but not often

Oooh, my ds is exactly the same! He is also 10 months and has always been very very high needs and a whingebag! He is a lot happier to be crawling but still regularly whinges as he crawls! Also throws massive screamy fits if I move him away from something dangerous or take anything off him. Normal I know but very extreme with my ds. It's very tiring! I don't think it's teething either as when his other teeth came in he rejected his bottle and other foods but didn't seem any more whingey than normsl.
