11month old ds - still teething and clingling to me for dear life

He has been teething from around 4months, when ever he is I cannot put him down.

Last week he had a break from bad teeth and was eating more than ever and drinking from a bottle.

This week bad teeth again and he has stopped eating solids apart from a few bites of what ever he fancies. And is constantly hanging off my breast.

Has anyone else got a dc like this? He is so happy and content when he is not feeling ill but any problems and he hangs off my breast.

Some babies feel it more than others, my dd is a terrible teether and it really disturbs her. I think she's trying out for amature dramatics

It's also the age for separation anxiety.

I have a sling to carry dd around in and I have a buggy she can sit in while I do the housework. I give her frozen carrot and banana to help her mouth.

I have a baby carrier to carry ds in but feel like i am giving in to him too much as he will never go in the pram and I have to carry him in the carrier even tho I have a bad back.

It good to know I'm not the only one with a baby like this

Bless you mummyrayjay, my ds hated his pram/ pushchair and everyone tells me I'm giving in to him by carrying him all the time. He can now tolerate it for around 30 mins but then I have to carry him. I don't think you are giving in to him too much but look after your back! x

meandmy joe - how old is your ds?

I just feel that 11months is quite old to be in a carrier and feel envious of people who has their dc's in a pram who will stay in there for ages even when they are not moving..

Ds will also stay in the pram for about 30mins when in a good mood but i have to keep him moving..
