My child joined the school sept 05/25 at vanguard school. And ever since my child has come back home with a number of complaints, with the staff and the way that they handle certain situations. There has been a recent one where one of the students got pushed by a staff member while they were going to see if someone was okay. I have also heard how the same staff member threatened to call their son on the students. This is unacceptable and absurd. The fact that they are putting hands on disabled students should not be happening full stop. My child has also come home happy and whenever i mention anything to do with school they immediately shut down, it’s clearly a sensitive topic when it shouldn’t be, all I want to do is have a conversation with my child about how their school day was. Furthermore I’ve been told that the year 11s have been put down by the staff by them saying that they won’t get anywhere in life etc etc. Their failing as a school and with everything in general. This needs to be addressed ASAP!
