DD screaming blue murder when getting dressed

I know there's another thread about a newborn hating bath/changing time but this is not quite the same thing. DD is five months, no problem with baths at all, no problems other than the usual wriggling during nappy changes. But when it comes to getting her dressed or ready for bed, she howls like she's being murdered. We've tried distracting her, singing, pulling faces but nothing makes any difference.

This is a reasonably recent development, the last couple of months. I can't believe she hates getting dressed this much...? Any ideas?

dd2 had a brief phase of this, think she just hated being constricted? Only advice is to use as easy, comfortable, unfussy clothes as possible, so its quick!

My newborn is the same he is 6 weeks old, absolutely fine in the bath however, once he's out he's screaming so bad!!!!
The room is nice and warm, I put him in a big towel, give him lots of cuddles but he still screams. Have you figured it out? If so can I have some tips haha
