Leg slamming

My baby turns 5 month on Thursday and every night she lifts her legs in the air and slams them back down quiet aggressively and she does this on repeat. Does anyone else’s babies do this? Do we know why?

Yes, it's a form of self soothing as well as the head shaking. My daughter who is 4 months does this, as did my son and the majority of kids in my NCT class.
