9 year old, heavy sleeper still wetting bed

My DS is 9, 10 this year and is still sometimes wetting the bed. I have reduced liquid intake in the evening and used an alarm, both of which have helped significantly and now most nights are dry. However the issue is that when he does need to go to the loo, he doesn't wake up and if he wets the bed, he himself isn't aware until he wakes up. My main concern isn't so much the bed wetting itself, it's the fact that he sleeps right through it and being fully wet doesn't wake him at all. He only really has dry nights when he doesn't need the loo at all and goes in the morning. It's very frustrating as I know how upset he is when I talk to him about it - I don't tell him off and try to make him understand that it takes everyone a different amount of time, that it's likely because he's a deep sleeper and not because he isn't grown up, but I would feel that the same way if most of my peers didn't have this issue but I did.
I'm open to any and all suggestions! Many thanks!

What did the GP say @AHas?

Hi @SleafordSods
Haven't been back to the GP since trying the alarm, that was the last thing that was recommended. I'd like to avoid medication and only use it as a last resort, hoping that I might get a few more suggestions to try before going back 🙏
