Hiya

Sorry to hear you are having problems. I wouldn't stop the naps in the day as I've found no naps can make my DS (2 also) overtired which makes bedtime even more difficult. The secret is to try and ensure the day time nap is over by about 2pm so that they have enough time to get tired again before bed.

When it actually comes to bedtime, have you tried pick up put down? You go into her, pick her up/comfort her and when she is quiet again, leave the room. You may have to do this several times before she understands that she won't be going back downstairs for play or whatever, but at least her needs are being met - she isn't being left to cry - I'm not a fan of controlled crying - think it upsets them too much!

Good luck!
