What are some genuinely good things to get my daughter for her first birthday?

I'm looking for some ideas for my daughters first birthday, if anyone has any tips of things they've bought and found they have had so much use out of it or it helps developmentally. I want to get something that can grow with her and will actually get use. Not just toys that she basically ignores!

Any help appreciated! Thanks 😊

Sorry OP not sure what you mean by “something that will grow with her and will actually get use” if you don’t want toys?

Do you mean something like this activity table?

I got my daughter a pram and a little soft doll (Little Dutch) that comes with a dummy and bottle. She played with it every day and it’s been lovely watching how her play has developed with it. She’s just turned 2 and still loves it! I also got her a tea set which was a huge hit and a play kitchen for her first Christmas - both of these are still played with every day.

Hands down the best thing we bought for our daughter was a toddler tower. She uses it every single day and is now 2 years 2 months. We got one from Kiddymoon.
