3 year old nightmare after new baby

Has anyone got any ideas that could help me? I used to have the perfect 3 year old until her little sis arrived. She was gud at first but now shes 7 month and dd1 is getting worse. Either wants her on her knee and playing like her best friend or is pulling her off her things. I am trying to be patient but its difficult. She doesnt listen to me anymore. I know it must be difficult for her to understand that she cant play her games or why she screams when she bearhugs her and tries to kiss her. But any ideas how to help? She does play up for attention especially when its food or bottle time. Am i being too hard on her?

This is the worst time for sibling rivalry as a new baby presents less threat than a devloping ooh isn't she lovely/clever one at this age - my DS was horrid at this stage and even went around hitting random small children in public - but it is all quite normal and the best you can do is be loving supportive and firm - you need to reassure her you still love her by keeping the rules the same- harsh though it may seem. i found the book three socks one shoe and no hairbrush by rebacca abrams really helpful- essentially all you can do is make sure they know you still love them and hang on in there it does get better but all this behaviour is all quite normal - it could be a lot worse - good luck
