No change in shoe size in 16months

DD is now 3yr3m. She has been a size 6 shoe since she was 23months old- 16months ago! I take her to the shoe shop every 6-8weeks in the vague hope that her shoe size has changed. I'm getting a little worried now. I know their feet size slows down, but to have no change in nearly 1.5yrs doesn't seem quite right.
She is petite in build (7th percentile for both height and weight), still in 18-24m clothes and size 6D shoes!
Woth mentioning to the HV or me just worrying over nothing?
Many thanks

quite normal- dd did this. Sometime soon she'll have a spurt and go up 2 sizes in 6 weeks. Then you'll be cursing because you'll have to shell out for another pair of shoes!

If you have serious concerns about her growth in general, a visit to GP would be appropriate

Thank you Tissy- I haven't met another child who has been similar....you are the first! She has always been petite/small build so I'm not worried about her general growth.
I'll start saving my money now for a foot growth spurt!

My DS1 went through the same, I wouldn't worry if she seems to be growing and putting on weight ok. DS1 (6) had same size feet as DS2 (4) for about a year, now he has gone up two sizes in six months = new shoes, trainers, wellies, flip flops....

I don't feel so bad now about my dd's feet! She's still in her first pair of shoes which are a 3, and she just won't grow. All the summer sandals start at size 4 - whether trying to get them cheap at Asda or pay real money at Clarks, so all she has to wear are the heavy dark blue leather shoes she was bought back in March when it was cold, when we thought 'she'll need more in 6-8 weeks so we'll buy summery ones then'. We've got a family wedding in a couple of weeks, I don't want her in clompy dark shoes, but I don't want to pay out for ones she might suddenly grow out of (shop warned she might jump sizes when she does grow) but I can't find any cheapo ones to get.
Sorry, haven't been of any help at all, just taking the opp to have a little rant of my own!!

I know how you feel. My DD hasn't grown since Oct 07! Like you we keep being measured but no change. I am enjoying saving the money while it lasts!

My nephew had the same pair of shoes for 2 years and my daughter is on the 4th pecentile and in 6-12 month clothes when she is 20 months. She is a C fitting in shoes which are almost impossible to get. We had to go to the hospital about her weight but it was a complete waste of time. They told me to give her cheese to fatten her up.
