Unsure on 4 year olds behaviour

Hi, ive come onto this to try and get some advice and reassurance around my near 4 year old. He is 4 in a matter of weeks, however, his behaviour lately has been really testing and stressful for me and my wife.

He is having a lot of tantrums, which involves screaming when being told something, whether that be to stop doing something or if we try and help. He is constantly saying ‘no’, and will just kick off over the slightest thing, even when we are having a good day. I feel this is just normal, but i am constantly worried it could be something else i.e autism, ADHD. Does the above sound normal to anyone, and has anyne gone through this with their 3 year old?

Does he go to any kind of Childcare @mtom90and have they mentioned anything about his behaviour?

How does he score on this simple progress checker?

Hi,

He goes to Pre-School but they haven't raised any concerns. We believe he may be copying another child, as he mentions their name when he is naughty. He is doing really well in his progress, and no concerns, but they change in behaviour in a split second worries us

I’m glad that pre-school haven’t got any concerns. Did you do the SaLT progress checker I linked to? Smile
