How can Ds1 be old enough to be giggling at partially dressed ladies, he's still in infants school FGS?

Last week, at our sports club, DS1 (yr2) was looking at the computer with another boy. They were laughing their heads off, so I went over to find out what was so much fun. They'd found a game that involved choosing clothes for a kind of cartoon doll, but they weren't dressing her, they were laughing at her in her undies.

Then this week, I found him studying the ladies underwear pages in the next directory.

So far, I've just ignored it, natural curiosity, completely normal etc, but is it at 7? and what should I be doing to ensure he had the appropriate amount of respect for the naked female form etc?

At home, we don't make a big deal of covering up. I wouldn't parade around naked, but if I'm in the shower and they need the toilet I wouldn't make them wait either. Should I? Is it time he stopped seeing his mum naked?

OK what did I do that was so terrible I didn't get a single resonse?

I have nothing overly constructive to say. But can't leave you all alone. If it helps I have a two dds they are 2 and 3. All family members walk around naked/semi dressed/clothed - dependant on time of day etc. They both giggle if I'm naked and inform me that I have beautiful boobies, and often crack up that they can see daddies bum!!! Its nothing they've picked up from school (obviously not being at school) and we're neither paraders nor hiders. I think it may be an inherent human gene to find nudity/farts etc funny.

DS1 was a bit squirmy when he saw that picture of the girl playing tennis commando at a jumble sale last year. He was 7 hee hee

Um, I used to perve the mens underwear section of the catalogue when I was between 5 and 10 years. I am not a pervy sort of person and am relatively normal. tbh, I think it's just natural curiosity, but let's face it- to many small boys the female figure is funny and to small girls, the male figure is funny.

Don't worry Whatday, a lot of blokes I know were like this when they were little and none of them are now deviants behind bars. I think it is just curiosity, and in the words of everyone's mother, 'a phase'....thing is, if you speak to him about it too much it is going to flag it up and make women's bodies all the more exciting and tantalising. Seriously, ignore the mucky little blighter's antics. Doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong.

My charge is 2.5 yrs old and is OBSESSED with boobies. I am rather splendidly endowed in that department. He would live in my bra if he could. His father thinks its hysterical, his mother is not quite so amused. But my charge is sooooooo funny, he just loves my norkage and no amount of re-direction or distraction will tear him away from them once he's in the mood LOL. I'm going to end up with a permanent imprint of his head on my left one at this rate.

Thanks everyone. I'm not really worried, just a bit surprised that it happens so early. I too remeber looking at the unies pages (male and female ) but I'm sure I wasn't still in infants but then I saw another thread about a 10 searching for porn on the internet, and that's only 3 years away

I know it's just normal curiosity and I'm not about to make a big deal of it, just wondered if now is the time to start talking about respect for other peoples bodies ? (and your own for that matter)
