Hello all.
I am posting this for a little reassurance, whoever reads this please help me figure out things. maybe I am too worried and over thinking right now. So my 14 month old is very active, healthy and a good eater, he is walking since 10 months old. When he was about to turn 1, someone pointed out that he wasn’t responding to his name much, after that I started calling him with his name more often which tbh I never did consistently before. Now he is 14 months old and responds to his name most of the time when he is not busy with his favourite cartoon or activity. So name calling thing is off my mind now. My new concern is the lack of eye contact now , he does make eye contact but only when he is calm or when I sing him his favourite rhymes. Whenever I hold him he always wants me to let him go and explore. He is always climbing tables, sofa and exploring alot. He only comes to me when he wants to sleep or get hurt, there are so many positives about my little one which makes me think its not autism, his memory is very good, always runs to room to get his blanket whenever sees the door open, copies ms Rachel sometimes, recently I taught him to stack rings and he learned that immediately, he claps alot but doesnt wave yet, he cries for me when I go to the toilet, he plays with other children and pass smiles and laughs when sees anyone jumping or playing with a ball. He enjoys peek a boo when I do it, gives a high five everytime I tell him to, he comes for a bite whenever I say aaaa, he used to babble alot but from past few weeks since he has started climbing, he is babbling less for that I think he is more into exploring right now. I need answers. Is it a normal 14 month old behaviour or should he talk more and respond to his name every time and make more eye contact? Need help please🥹

He sounds very normal.
