My daughter in the last 3mths has started to act out and to an extreme. If at school we don’t seem have any reports of such behaviour so it’s very specific to home.
we are a family that does at lot together so I’m confused because it’s seems like acting out for attention but she has it most day especially as she is an only child.

an example of the behaviour;
been shopping with nanny, she has had new shoes, snacks etc. just went food shopping and without any reason decided to call daddy stupid! Shout in his face and the push him. We get home follow through and explain this is not how to behaviour and treat each other. As a result we will have to go to bed and there is no playing this evening. I clear her room of all toys as after explaining she continued to shout at us and push us .. laughter at me told me it’s ok I can slip and slide (has laminate floor in her room) so I striped her to knickers and vest to prevent playing.
I went back upstairs 5mins later tried to talk with her to do the cuddle and talk through actions .. she didn’t engage … I walked away .. went back offered dinner .. refused .. I said ok back upstairs to bed .. now she is shouting for food .. I obviously have let her but why and where is this behaviour from how do you stop it?

Wow your response is not proportionate. Tell her it’s not kind etc to behave like that. Have time out for 5 mins. Stripling her to her knickers why on earth?
