ADHD behaviour when she’s tired

Hi,

Im completely mentally drained after today! My LO is 3 years old, very bright, usually very good at listening and following instructions.

She went to bed a bit later last night after having a long nap during today (recovering from a cold doesn’t usually nap anymore) woke up at her normal time and has been bouncing off the walls all day. Has talked constantly all day, very frustrated when I’m not able to answer her questions or give her an answer she doesn’t like because I haven’t had time to mentally process or keep up with her conversation. Tonight it resulted in her pouring frozen peas over the living room trying to eat them after I told her no several times.

she’s had a few days like this recently and I just wonder is it normal for toddlers to have off days like this? Does anyone have similar experiences?

She sounds like a noted toddler if I’m honest Smile

Did you manage to get out with her today?

Yes we went to the park and to the shops! So odd how they seem to go bonkers when they’re tired. She never shows she’s tired just her behaviour changes. It’s really hard to tell what’s going on with her.
