Teething symptoms - advice needed.

I've had 2 nights now where ds2 has been really unsettled, crying on and off and waking up frequently. I've eliminated all options like hunger, too warm, nappy etc... so I'm now wondering whether he's teething. The only problem is he's not dribbling and he doesn't have red cheeks.
It was so obvious with ds1 as he dribbled like a fool and his cheeks were bright red. DS2 has had a few runny nappies particularly the early morning ones over the last couple of days but no other obvious symptoms. Nothing else has changed in our routine or my diet (he's bf), except he did have his first jabs on Thursday. Thursday night he woke 3 times but last night was much worse. If it was a reaction to the jabs I would have expected the Thursday night to be the bad one. He usually sleeps through from around 11.30/midnight to 6.30/7am and has done for about a week.
Anyone got any ideas or experienced teething without these symptoms. I'm stumped!

Yes, my DD teethed without getting either red cheeks or much dribbling.
She too cried in the night for a few days but showed no other symptoms at all.
I found that a bit of Bonjela helped (maybe the surprise/taste more than the painkilling properties) but otherwise I just had to cuddle/feed her back to sleep as best I could.

I hope his discomfort is short-lived and that he gets back to his normal routine soon.

Hiya - sorry this is a bit late - but just looked at your thread as my dd (14 weeks) i think has just started teething too...
Just to let you know, the 2nd day/night after jabs can be worse - was the case with mine!
How are they now? x
