Hi All, looking for some advice- peoples own experiences. My baby girl has just turned 9 months and she is developing really well, said 3 words, she’s commando crawling backwards and getting herself into the crawling position and so close to learning that skill! She sits unaided she can reach for toys, plays together, uses toys correctly etc.
however, she is unable to bear any weight on her legs for longer than about 3-5 seconds. I have spoke with health visitor and GP told me not to worry as all babies develop differently. She just doesn’t seem interested in wanting to bear weight. When I do hold her, she often gets frustrated and will hold her legs up, I tried today against the sofa and she done really well trying- but just wanted to hear people’s own stories with their little ones! TIA

I’m surprised at the HV and GP. If you fill in the 9 month Ages & Stages, how do they score for gross motor skills?
