Hi,
DS is 7, year 2. In many ways he's well behaved, really responsible at times, does what teachers expect, practises reading, turns off tv when asked, kind to younger brother.
However, about 3 times a week this happens. A child will say something irritating - as young kids can. For example: mistakenly or correctly say he broke a rule, or say he has an old bike. If they persist he will yell in their face and occasionally push.
Ive explained this isnt ok even if the other child said something unhelpful, mistaken or unkind. Ive suggested he take a deep breath and step away. However in the moment he's wound up too quickly.
Id welcome any ideas.
