Good evening - I’m posting here in the hope someone may be able to recommend a London or possibly Herts based child psychologist or therapist. My 8 year old son’s behaviour has been quite challenging at times recently and disruptive of family life. I’m desperate to find someone experienced to talk to and to meet and work with him. I don’t think he is particularly exhibiting ASD/ADHD traits (and no suggestion of that from school - where he seems to be well behaved) so am reluctant to sign up for any assessment at this stage at least - but so many places seem just to offer assessments. I’d be so grateful to hear from anyone whose had success with support from a child psychologist or other professional experienced with behavioural challenges who might help us understand what is going on and help our son.
