Should I have let my 6 week old baby sleep through

He fed and was awake 5pm-9:30pm wouldn’t stop feeding and was awake most of this time with the odd 2 minutes with his eyes closed

then slept 9:30pm-5:30am

breastfed baby

i dont know myself for sleeping so well last night 🤣 but I am worried I shouldn’t have let him sleep like that?

normally he wakes once or twice over that time

When mine were little and I breastfed I used to leave them sleep. I always thought with breastfeeding you feed on demand. Mine always slept overnight for long stretches overnight too. I'd say if they're happy this morning then it's fine.

Is he gaining weight and bright and alert at times in the day? If the answer is yes to both of these questions I’d leave him well alone at night and enjoy the sleep

Yea he’s healthy and well gaining weight as he should, smiling and hitting all milestones as limited as that is for a newborn
