9 months baby spinning

Hello, we have a 9.5-month-old baby who has been diagnosed by neurologists with mild muscle hypotonia. At the moment, the baby can sit up but doesn’t quite keep balance and may fall backward. He crawls in an “army crawl” style quite fast but refuses to crawl on all fours. Overall, he makes many repetitive movements that are considered symptoms of autism. We’ve shown him many times, for example, how to clap his hands, but he still doesn’t do it. We are very worried — everyone keeps telling us it’s still early and that every baby develops differently — but he has started turning his head repeatedly, throwing himself backward, kicking his legs a lot (since 4-5 monts), growling, and when he’s on the floor, he keeps kicking with one leg. Please, we would really appreciate some advice.

Hello @Ruru91. Can I just ask which Country you’re in? Getting a diagnosis that young would be unusual in the UK, perhaps the system is different where you are? Smile

similar to my LO @Ruru91!
always growling - no Babbling, still unsteady sitting, poor eye contact, always kicking with one leg, no imitation etc (the list goes on)… i have contacted the HV again as unsure what to do.

how is your LO now, any updates?
