Have had tons and tons of books for babbies and children, but DS is about to be 3 and everything I've got is running out, apart from Steve Biddulph books. My favourite so far has been Penelope Leach but would be very grateful for all and any suggestions about books/writers/academics etc that will help me understand where my son is developmentally and therefore to help me help me in every area. Have spent the am reading a Montessori site, which I've found very useful, and would love any more about Montessori for 3-6s if anyone knows of anywhere online.

The one I'm writing .
Unfortunately it doesn't come out until next year!

What about Alfie Kohn's Unconditional Parenting - many people on here swear by it.

Will look out for yours and have just looked up Alfie Kohn. Looks great and have ordered it. Have also been searching desperately through threads and have also ordered Deborah Jackson and Hot to talk so kids listen.

More ideas please!
