Is my baby broken!? (lighthearted)

My baby turned 6 weeks this week and it's like a switch has been pressed.

Previously hated being put down even for me to nip to the loo and basically screamed and cried at the slightest thing. Was only truly content at bedtime, being held or in the car/pram...or when being fed. We do think had issues with wind which dentinox has been helping with the past week. Coincidence?

This week - Tuesday screamed all day and evening until bedtime, Wednesday (turned 6 wks) a screaming session in the afternoon but mellow by evening, Thursday slept alot and minimal crying and now today is this alert, chilled baby. Literally minimal crying and is chilling on his playmat good as gold, which he wouldn't do for more than 10 mins max.

Is he playing me? Is the screaming going to return with vengeance or has happy baby appeared at last?? Anyone else had this?

I've jinxed myself haven't I? Be back to eat my words by tomorrow I'm sure. Blush

Are you sure he hasn’t been swapped by the fairies?

My 2nd is now 3m old and have found this time i have a different baby every 7ish days or so🤣 Sometimes totally unsettled and then i’ll have the most placid, easy baby ever for 3 days, who naps perfectly, sleeps etc. Just take each day as it comes is all i can say, enjoy the good days and hope they last, and when you get a bad one; just know a good one is around the corner (hopefully in the next working day or two 🤣🤣🤣)
