Hi, my DD (2yr and 3mo) has always been quite advanced with her talking (since about 18 months she has been a non stop chatterbox), however over the past week or so she has been stammering, quite badly. For example she will say “m-m-mommy c-c-can I have an a-a-pple”, its not every sentence but I’d say about 70% of the day she is doing it. Her nan has also noticed it as she cares for her twice a week. I am going to ask nursery about it this week but I just wondered whether this was common at this age?
I have her 2 year check coming up in two weeks so will mention it there too.
