It isnt rare, especially when they are young. Not always so fastidious about wiping Front to Back etc. also if they don't wipe themselves properly after a Poo,then this will stain their underwear slightly but also could cause an infection.Don't worry they won't start "investigating". My Neice had lots of urine infections when she was young as she had a small "pocket" in her Bladder, which kept a reserve of urine which caused infections.

Just to add to possibilities; I had thrush when I was very small - is one of my earliest memories and all I can remember of it was wanting to go to the loo all the time, but nothing happening. Was in Kew Gardens on a family holiday I think! Presume cream cleared it up, and didn't get it again until grown-up but might be worth a thought.

thanks everyone, will take sample in and see what they say..could her course of AB's brought something else one? like thrush???, she's still a little under weather from bronchitis as well..poor little darling..been coughing all night again, off to bed now hopefully she'll get some sleep as i was working last night(childminding overnight) and the baby had us up lots through night.

Will let you all know how she gets on..thanks again everyone, really appreciate your advice

Hi All...doc didnt do test while i was there?, told me to put one in and theys end it off, should be back thurs or fri (and this was the lvoely doc too, so am assuming they 'dont' test themselves???)..he said it could be what they call "Urgency"..where they urgently feel th need t go and sometimes nothing comes out, its common in girls/women he said men not so much, can be bought on by infection OR could be because of her knock of confidence when she missed the toilet (and then it bloody happend again today poor lamb!, couldnt get trousers down quick enough when we got back in)..he said to increase her fluids, particulary orange juice and water and encourage her to go to toilet often, he said either way fluids and going to loo will ease it and if test comes back showing infection 'then' he will look at what to prescribe(this doc is very 'herbal', hes worked all over world and has often told me to go buy this and that instead of prescribing something and its worked so much better/faster than chemical intervention, so will be happy to go with whta he suggests...so shes got huge glass of orange juice at minute..i also bought some green tea with cranberry in, thought id try and she could try cold..but its bloosy awful!, dont think ill get her near it!
