Have you ever had a child doing this? He humps the bed for ages every night and morning, gets a huge willie as well~!! Perhaps he will have an over active sex drive when he gets older...Should I tell him off?

How old is he?
No offence, but are you joking?
I am sorry if you are not

My ds is 7 and has done this for years, leave him, he is doing no harm, its comforting for him.

Ds2 does this. He is only 2. He lies face down on the floor and looks like he's humping the floor. He'll lie there for ages. I think it's just a comfort thing or a habit.

GordontheGopher · 31/05/2008 20:49

My friend's boy has done this since he was a baby and he's two now. I do think it means they have more testosterone than average, but also feel it's comforting like sucking a dummy.

mylovelymonster · 31/05/2008 20:50

hmm should I spill....ok...my 16 month old DD humps her bunny at bedtime and often falls asleep on top of it with her bum in the air. There, it's out in the open now. And relax.....

lazarou · 31/05/2008 20:51

Well, if he's not humping the floor he's playing with his willy.

mylovelymonster · 31/05/2008 20:51

I'm hoping this doesn't mean she'll be a raving nympho at a precocious age

gingeme · 31/05/2008 20:54

Nothing to worry about my 4 year old ds does this too usualy when hes tired. Trouble is does it on our wooden floor which doesnt look too comfortable. He calls it wriggling.

Meandmyjoe · 31/05/2008 21:26

Totally normal, i know loads of kids who do this for comfort. It feels different and nice for them. I used to do it, it wasn't a sexual thing. APPARENTLY according to dh I still do it when I'm half asleep and trying to get fully asleep! He claims I start wiggling my bum and humping nothing but it always gets his hopes up and he thinks he's gonna get his leg over

Meandmyjoe · 31/05/2008 21:28

Oh and I'm far from a nympho so seriously don't worry!! Although I do think about sex a lot, just can't be arsed to do it so maybe I'm just a lazy nympho wannabe!
