Hair pulling

Hello. Looking for some advice really.
my daughter is 2 years old and has always played with my hair as a comfort as she was BF. When she was about 10 months old she pulled all of her own hair out, it’s now all grown back but she is still pulling my hair for comfort.
has anyone got any advice on how to stop this? She’s absolutely ruined my hair and pulled a lot of it out so it’s all different lengths etc.
I’ve tried repeatedly moving her hand away and saying no, I’ve tried specialist gloves. Just don’t really know what to do

What happens when she reaches for your hair? Are you able to move quickly enough to get out of the way? Would she accept something as a replacement such as a piece of velvet?

I think ultimately though your going to have to have a really stern face, express how painful it is and leave the room.
