My 23 month old can count to 3!

. She had just climbed like a monkey on to my dresser, where there is some change, and is counting out some coins.

She just said, one...two...three...six, six? six? whilst counting them [proud mummy emoticon]

She has been saying the words for a while, says two, three, one, etc, but just words, no understanding...until now.

How cool is that?!

I apologise for not replying earlier about how clever our children are, but I was too busy getting reprimanded for my thieving child! ROFL

I meant to say colander how embarrassing in public eh? !!

DD had been up to recently saying one t-fwee, immediately prior to jumping off whatever she was standing on, the sofa, the swimming pool side (with me holding her), a step, the table . She just counts and launches, with the expectation that I will catch her, even if I am not there!!!

However, she had no idea what it meant until yesterday. Maybe even then not, but more in context.
