Head size growing rapidly

Hi, I'm a FTM of a 7 week IVF baby. My baby was born smaller than predicted (5lbs 15) but is greedy and gaining weight. Unfortunately his head has crossed two percentiles and is now between the 75th and 91st percentile. The dr is concerned so have been referred for further investigation. I'm beside myself with worry. I have a severely mentally disabled brother and just can't face having a disabled child as awful as that sounds. He does make eye contact and smiled at us from 6 weeks exactly but I just feel like such a bad mum who didn't grow him properly. Has anyone had a similar experience?

My baby had the same, they were monitored for a year under GOSH and nothing came out of it. It was just one of this things that then settled and all ok now. Hope all ok, I know how worrying it can feel.

Yeah it's incredibly worrying - I'm sorry you went through it too - glad all was ok! Was your LO significantly smaller than head size like my LO?

Thank you! Yes, much smaller but it really all has balanced out over the years. A thriving 4 year old now
