Shadows

Hi all !
my little ones 5.5 years old and has always loved staying out at her grans etc.
but recently has started at night crying about shadows and how she doesn’t know how to sleep ,
tonight while supposed to be staying out she’s decided to come home . Which btw is always fine I want her to feel safe etc .
but has anyone else gone through this ?
like why now 🤣 she’s at school which is the summer holidays couldn’t be lack of routine etc

I think you’ve done the right thing in letting her come home. Does she have things like a nightlight and a favourite teddy?

Of course I would alway let her come home the thing is I work nights and some times my partner works away so their will be times where she won’t have the option and I’ve explained that today .
yes she has soooo many teddies and lots of night lights that she goes between .
I did today get her to pick her a special new one so hopefully that will help tomorrow !
it’s all such a stress when she’s been so good at sleeping :(
