When did your baby/toddler stop getting into everything?

I am a mum to 2 girls (5 and 4) and a boy (13 months)

I know all children are very different, mine definitely are! My girls were always really shy so would be stuck to me whenever we went to visit people. Recently when we have visited family and friends etc, my baby boy is into everything and it’s really hard. I never had this with the girls so I have no idea how long this stage lasts for?

I think that your DDs being so shy in comparison is perhaps making you more aware of DS’s behaviour?

Is he full when he visits so maybe less mobile? And will he do something quiet for a couple of minutes like eat raisins on your knee?

How are your DDs now?

I used to take what my husband called 'the bag of crap' with me when they were this age. An old toilet bag with old jung in it like bits of cloth materials, old eye mask, empty (washed) shampoo bottles, empty soap box or any old rubbish.

It used to come out when we were out and about at someone's house or restaurant he could just open it and pull out and discard/play with whatever he wanted.

I think this stage stopped at about 3 for my oldest
Youngest was never as bad
