I just have to share this because it's too funny. My husband was looking at our son (he's only 7!) and got this super serious look on his face. He's completely, 100% convinced he's going to be at least 6'4" and is already talking about his future basketball career.
It got me curious though, so of course, I went down a little internet rabbit hole looking for ways to predict a child's adult height.
I ended up stumbling upon this simple height calculator site, and it was actually pretty fun. You can use a couple of different methods.
Here's the link if you want to try it too:

(No sign-up or anything weird, you just plug in the numbers.)
Anyway, I plugged in our info and it predicted he'd be around 6'0". When I showed my husband, he totally scoffed and said, "Nope, my genetics will beat the algorithm!"
It's all just a bit of fun, obviously! So much depends on nutrition, sleep, and everything else down the line. But now I'm super curious! Has anyone else tried something like this? I'd love to hear what results you get or if you have any funny height predictions in your family!
