I fear this is akin to asking how long a piece of string is. I don't have extensive knowledge of baby's sleep patterns as I can only speak from experience of our one baby so far. We are very lucky in that our nearly six-month-old has been managing about 12 hours a night for the last couple of months. However, I have friends whose babies rarely slept for more than a couple of hours in the first couple of years. There just seems to be no way of knowing if your baby's going to be a good sleeper or not.
Wishing you and your little one all the best!

My DD is 11 weeks and it varies. She has started to sleep 5 and even 6 hours on occasion, but it varies night by night.
