Is my baby having convulsions?!

So for a couple of weeks my baby in her pram, high hair or walker suddenly starts to do this thing where she either arches her back or seems to go abit stiff and she will kick her legs.. she doesn’t cry.. but she kind of holds her breath but she can also be distracted with things.. I did think it was maybe a stimulation thing.. but have tried a few different things but she still does it.. I took her to the doctors on Wednesday last week and the nurse thinks she needs to be referred to get her checked for possible convulsions (she did it in front of her and I have shown her videos) she told me not to worry if the hospital don’t get in touch asap as that won’t be a concern.. but they have contacted me before Friday for an appointment next Wednesday.. should I be concerned?! Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Paeds tend to act quite quickly as if it is something serious they want babies to be seen quickly but it means there can be quite a low bar for acting just to avoid tiny babies that need seeing quickly having to wait.
No personal experience but a friends little girl had fainting episodes and was seen by paeds a few times for these but she outgrew them and there was any cause identified
