How long was the wait from referral to community paediatrics for you if it’s something you’ve been through?

Hi @Natalie6869I think you’re probably best asking in the SN Children section as some of the MNers in there will have been through the process.

Has your HV also given you the details of any local support groups, playgroups or Nurseries for DC with SN or speech delay?

We waited 18 months. Had the initial assessment 2 weeks ago, and he’ll have a follow up in another 9ish months.
then, the wait time is anyone’s guess…!!!

It may depend on area and why you were referred. We waited a few months.
