2.5 yo aggressive behaviour

I’m really struggling with my DD aggressive behaviour atm. She’s 2.5 and is biting, pinching, hitting, swiping etc. she also bites her bottom lip constantly, mostly when frustrated but sometimes not. She’s a very loving and sweet girl most of the time I would say this physical behaviour is not her character at all but lately it seems like it’s becoming more frequent and it worries me. We’re really struggling with it and I’m getting more worried she’s going to hurt other people and other children. I don’t know how to stop it or improve it and if it’s completely normal… I’d love some advise or stories where your child has done this and grown out of it pretty quick.

Is she like this everywhere @BlueRose22, so at home and at Childcare? Have you noticed any triggers?

She’s mainly like it at home, we’ve had no trouble with it at preschool I’ve had quite an open dialogue with them about it but very recently we have had a couple of occasions where she’s squeezed/pinched her older cousin while at her nanny’s for the day with her younger and older cousin. It seems to be mostly when she’s not getting her own way but on odd occasion it will be randomly…although those random times I wonder if in those moments when I’m talking with someone or doing something and she wants my attention possibly?
