So… a lot is happening and I’m at the point now it’s hard to cope.. I feel so upset, depressed and also feel like why me?!
One of my children has ADHD currently not medicated it was stopped due to a health issue that we have been waiting for a hospital appointment for a year and half now and still no appointment! The behaviour is getting out of control sticking middle finger up, hitting, punching, breaking things, throwing stuff at you banging on the walls and screaming and a lot more it gets to the point I nearly have to call the police every time. The house is rented and the neighbours bang on the walls and get angry. I’m honestly worried we will be kicked out ( I have apologised to them).
So because of this behaviour my second child is now copying with the exact same issues except I’d say it’s even worse! I was dragged off my chair by my hair for absolutely no reason! after started banging on the walls screaming and punching etc and all we were doing was watching the Minecraft movie together?
I do think I need to take my second child to the doctor too but at this point I don’t know what to do anymore. I had bruises on my arms and it’s always my hair my second child grabs.
My children are not toddlers they are both over the age of 8.
I don’t know what I did wrong for them to behave like this they will even do this in public! All I keep thinking is what have I done wrong?! Everyone tells me I did nothing wrong I am a great parent they go on day trips and holidays. I spend time with them. we go to the park most days after school so they can run around etc.
I just don’t know what to do anymore. I called to see what’s going on with the ADHD medication and they said nothing they can do about it until hospital appointment is done but they don’t know how long it will be.
If anyone has any information on what I can do or who I can talk to about this behaviour please let me know.
