Pillows for toddlers - whens the best age?

DD (almost 13 months) loves pillows and when she comes into bed with us (depending on how her night goes) she snuggles up on one and sleeps so peacefully. Would it be wrong to put one in her cot? I'm sure she's waking up at night because be misses it. Or am I very bad for suggesting this?....

I think its 12 months when they can have pillows.

I've given my children pillows at this age.

My ds "stole "my V shaped feding pillow at put it in his cot at around a year old, a month or so after stopping bf.
He still will not sleep without it.
He made the decision for us.

DD has one on her bed and discards it every night , preferring to sleep without it.
