13 month old toddler tantrums

My son is 13 months old (my first baby) and is having such meltdowns now over literally anything. I have no idea if it’s normal to start them this young? We get told he’s advanced because he was walking by 10 months etc and always wants to learn the next thing so this could be why.

I can remember that age being difficult with my first as their understanding is usually good but they get frustrated with not being able to communicate all of their wants with you.

I take it that nothing was highlighted in his 12 month check?

I’d try some baby signs/makaton with him like food, more, up, milk, no and yes.

Nope nothing was picked up but he had his review at 10 months and a lot can change in 5 months.
