3.5 sudden stammer

Hoping for a bit of advice/ reassurance. My son will be turning 4 in September and is a very chatty little boy always has been, and can hold a very long conversation. In the last few weeks we noticed a bit of a stutter but I put it down to he can’t catch up with all the things he wants to say! Now in the last few days it’s pretty much every other sentence, he’s unaware of it and we aren’t making him aware either but now I’m feeling a little concerned that it’s getting rapidly worse in a short space of time and my brain is now thinking something is wrong! I’m planning on taking him to GP in the morning but would love to hear any of your experiences - and hopefully settle my brain a bit. Thanks in advance 🥰

I don’t have any experience of a stammer but it’s probably worth doing this progress checker from Speech & Language UK before you see the GP, just to check that his speech is on track generally Flowers
