My baby is 9 weeks old, exclusively breastfeeding, 95th percentile for height and weight.

1.5 weeks ago she was in hospital for an unknown virus. High temp, very sleepy. She seemed to make a good recovery. And I've been routinely testing her temp.

The last 3 days all she has wanted to do is feed. My nipples feel like I have a tiny newborn again 😱 When she's not feeding she is hard to please and very grouchy. Her sleep has never been great, but she's up every hour from 2am sucking her hands like she didn't finish eating 40 mins before!

It feels like a growth spurt..but is it too early?

It could be that she’s catching up after her illness.

Are you able to stay home today and feed as much as she wants to?

If your nipples are suffering I’d suggest giving obe of the BFing Helplines a call to see if they have any suggestions Flowers
