ah poor ds2 -- with his bothe i was keenly encouaging him to cack on with evey developmental milestone

with ds2 it's like "oh noooo, he can pull himself up. bugger."

i spend my days acing to the sound of "thud.... waaaaaAAAIIIIILLLLL"

why can't he just sit, motionless, like his bothe did

I remember dd not walking til 26mths, non verbal til 3 yrs and only learned to jump recently. She is 5!
We were in and out of specialists... With ds2 aka the hellraiser I covet those days.
he is in such a hurry....

I knew a nanny who would always put toys etc within a child's reach in order to discourage them from crawling.

Hmm. I encouraged my PFB all the way, as you do.

With ds1 I thought I'd got wise and left him to it, putting those toys within his reach. He took forever to walk, and when they can't walk you have to carry them everywhere. And they're so heavy. And then he took forever to talk, SALT and all that, it's so frustrating trying to communicate. And I've been changing nappies for years.

So with ds2 I'm back to pushing.

I guess I'll regret it when he walks at 9 months.
