Cows milk 10 month old

My 10 month old is on around 30oz formula a day.
I’ve tried cutting a bottle out a day but she’s awfully cranky.
food is hit and miss which doesn’t bother me, she’ll pick it up when she’s ready.
my main question is can I replace one bottle of day of formula to cows milk? I want her fully on it for when she’s one so slowly getting her used to it now, can it really be that bad?

Well it’s well known you’re not suppose to before 1 year old as they will struggle to digest it, what’s the need to change? She needs the nutrients from the formula if solid food is hit and miss.

There isn’t such a need as more of a want of slowly transitioning.
when I had my daughter and the HV came she said we’re ok to start them on cows milk at 10 months and I asked is this a new thing, she said yes. To which I forgot about it.
then starting my little girl in nursery when enrolling her, they said if I send her with cows milk they arnt allowed to give it her even tho new rules have come out the nhs guideline is still 12 months 🤷‍♀️

If the NHS guideline is still 12 months then who’s guideline are you listening to?

I don't think it would be best practice, no – replacing a whole bottle is a significant part of her diet, and she needs the nutrition that's in the formula milk, especially if she's taking to solids a bit more slowly.

You can use cows milk with cereal and things like that if you want to start getting her used to the taste.
