Is this ADHD or normal behaviour in 7 year old

As the title says, I'm struggling to know if this is normal or potentially ADHD in my 7 year old son, so while I wait for an appointment with the surgery, can anyone shed some light/ provide their experiences?

I've noticed this over the past year and these are the traits that makes me think it could be ADHD:

  • Always talking over people/interrupting conversations
  • Speaking very loudly, particularly around family/friends when he gets excited
-Always fidgety, especially during dinner, homework etc -Struggles to listen when being asked to do something, always needing to be asked 5 times before he does what's been asked
  • Can't focus on things like bored games but can be very focused on lego
  • Gets very emotional

However, he does well at school and focuses, the teachers haven't raised any concerns and says he's a good pupil. Has lots of friends and good social skills. Eats well, sleeps well. Communicates his feeling well and can reason well. Listens to instructions from adults and won't do anything he knows he shouldn't do.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
