Help please.... my DS turned 2yrs in March and the last few weeks he has been the child from hell. He keeps smacking, trying to bite me and always says NO to everything. He throws things at the TV and starts banging his head on the floor or doors when he cant get his owm way. He wont let my DH do anything, he always says ''Mummy do it''!

I have has such a exhausting weekend with him that i dropped him off at my mums this moring and it was the first time ever i was please to be leaving him. Is this normal or is he punishing me for working??

Help please....

Normal!!!
It will pass. With mine it seemed there was a switch that when he was 23months he was great and when he got to 2 he was horrible.Quite normal as far as i can see.Try and get rest when you can to prepare for the next onslaught.
Good luck

Sorry forgot to say to be consistent when dealing with behaviour you dont want eg hitting and head banging. He is testing the boundaries and you so he knows how far he can go.Dont make idle threats-if you say something will happen if he doesnt stop then carry it out otherwise all he has learnt is that you dontmean what you say and will give into him.Sorry you prob know all this anyway...
