He is 4. He can speak and have short conversations. He is learning more and more everyday. He can follow instructions for simple everyday tasks. He can count, past 100 with help. He can identify letters and some of the sounds they make but when you try to tell him things like the month or ask him what he did that day or ask him to say something that makes him happy, he can’t. I know all children are different but my older children were having full blown conversations at 2. So to see him struggle so much is very concerning. The nursery have said they ask him questions and he just says “mmm I don’t know” and doesn’t seem to retain info on topics they learn in class. Have any of you experienced this and it turned out to be nothing when they were older?

I’m surprised that Nursery haven’t been more on top of this. How does he score with this simple progress checker? It will tell you if he needs some support Flowers

Did you manage to do the progress tracker @brazilliazilla? Smile
